A short journey into the mountains, lake culture and nomadic traditions of Kyrgyzstan
The journey is designed to feel active, but not too difficult. You will walk through canyons, ride horses, meet local traditions, watch a golden eagle hunting show, visit museums and mosques, relax in hot springs and see both the southern and northern sides of Issyk-Kul Lake.

This is a perfect introduction to Kyrgyzstan for travelers who have limited time, but still want a route that feels authentic, scenic and culturally meaningful.

In just 6 days, the route brings together the most important first impressions of the country: the calm rhythm of Bishkek, the mountain scenery of Chong-Kemin, the red cliffs of Konorchek Canyon, horse riding in the national park, the yurt-making traditions of Kyzyl-Tuu, the dramatic landscapes of Skazka Canyon, the waterfalls of Barskoon, the legends of Jeti-Ögüz and the cultural heritage of Karakol.

Arrival at the airport, meeting with the guide and transfer to the hotel.
Early check-in is provided depending on arrival time, followed by time to rest after the flight.
At 13:00, lunch is served at a local restaurant.
After lunch, the group begins a city tour of Bishkek. The program includes Ala-Too Square, the State Historical Museum, Oak Park, Kurmanjan Datka Monument and the Fine Arts Gallery.
The day continues with a visit to Osh Bazaar, one of the most colorful places in Bishkek. Here, guests can feel the local atmosphere, buy souvenirs, honey, dried fruits and other national products.
Return to the hotel, free time and rest.

After breakfast, transfer to the scenic Chong-Kemin Valley.
The drive takes approximately 2 hours and leads into a peaceful mountain area surrounded by the Tien Shan mountains.
On the way, the group stops at a local market to buy light snacks for a picnic in nature.
Then guests visit “Apamdyn Kattamasy,” a cozy place where they are introduced to Kyrgyz gastronomic traditions and taste famous layered flatbreads served with fresh sour cream and aromatic milk tea.
The journey continues to Konorchek Canyon, one of the impressive natural highlights of Kyrgyzstan. During the hike, guests walk through a picturesque gorge leading to red cliffs and sandstone formations that feel almost cinematic.
After the excursion, arrival at “Ular” guesthouse, located among green meadows and mountain landscapes.
Check-in, traditional dinner and free time for rest, walks around the area and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Kyrgyz nature.

After breakfast, the day begins with an exciting horseback riding tour through the picturesque surroundings of Chong-Kemin National Park.
During the two-hour ride, guests experience mountain landscapes, alpine meadows and the fresh air of the Kyrgyz highlands.
After horse riding, transfer to Kyzyl-Tuu village, known as the center of traditional yurt-making in Kyrgyzstan.
Upon arrival, guests enjoy a golden eagle hunting show, where skilled berkutchi demonstrate the ancient art of hunting with trained birds of prey — a tradition passed down through generations.
Accommodation at “U Rustama” guesthouse and lunch with traditional national cuisine.
After lunch, the cultural program continues with a Yurt Show, Chiy Show and Shyrdak Show. Guests learn the secrets of nomadic dwelling construction, observe the process of weaving chiy mats and see how handmade felt carpets are created.

After breakfast, departure to Karakol along the scenic southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
The first stop is Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairy Tale Canyon. This place is famous for its red-orange rock formations shaped by wind and time into figures resembling fairy-tale characters, castles and unusual natural sculptures.
The route continues to Barskoon Gorge, one of the most beautiful gorges in the Tien Shan mountains. A short walk leads to the “Tears of the Leopard” waterfall, hidden among forests and mountain slopes.
Next, the group visits Jeti-Ögüz Gorge, known for its red rock formations called “Seven Bulls” and “Broken Heart.” Lunch is served at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the mountains and green valley.
Upon arrival in Karakol, the city tour includes the Dungan Mosque, built without a single nail, and the Przhevalsky Museum, dedicated to the famous traveler and explorer of Central Asia.

In the evening, relaxation in open-air hot springs — a perfect way to recover after an eventful day and enjoy the atmosphere of a mountain resort.

After breakfast, departure to Bishkek along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
On the way, the group visits Semenovka Gorge and Grigoryevka Gorge, known for alpine landscapes, pine forests and mountain rivers.
The route continues to Rukh Ordo cultural complex, located on the lake shore. This place combines history, spirituality and culture of different peoples, while also offering panoramic views of Issyk-Kul.
Next, guests visit the ancient open-air petroglyphs — unique rock carvings preserved from the time of ancient nomads, telling stories of life in Central Asia.
The final historical stop is Burana Tower, one of the most famous monuments of Kyrgyzstan. This 9th–11th century minaret is part of the ancient city of Balasagun, once a major center of the Karakhanid state.
Lunch is served at Hawaii Recreation Center.
By evening, arrival in Bishkek. Free time for rest, last city walks and preparation for departure.
